WorshipArts Chapel

Tuesdays at 7 PM during the school year

Join us to worship Jesus in community. Chapel was created to give youth the opportunity to lead and support worship services, equipping them to serve in their local churches and ministries. Each week, students gather to praise God and study scripture alongside Christians from various local congregations.

You might see youth leaders, pastors, and ministry leaders from the Kalamazoo community speaking or leading worship with our team students. Chapel is open to everyone, and many current and former WorshipArts students attend each week!

Note: WorshipArts is not a church. Chapel is not a substitute for local church attendance. We’re a training program aimed at discipling young people and supporting the wonderful congregations here in the Kalamazoo area. Get plugged into a local church so you can find good Christian fellowship, accountability, and spiritual family!

F.A.Q.

I’m an adult, can I come to chapel?
Yes! We welcome adults to join us.

What do I need to do to play/sing at chapel?
Fill out this form here, and we’ll reach out!

Is there a limit to how much I can play/sing on stage at chapel?
We want as many students as possible to be able to participate on stage at chapel. Our general guideline is for students to participate 2-3 times on stage max each season. Our interns are the exception, you’ll see them leading the team much more often.

How much skill do I need to play/sing at chapel?
Chapel is very beginner-friendly for vocals, keyboard and acoustic guitar. But there is a minimum skill level required for certain positions on stage. If you’re unsure about whether you have the ability to serve at chapel, send an email to peter@worshipartskalamazoo.com and we can talk it through.

What if I want to help with tech for chapel?
During our chapel services, we’re actually teaching a tech class for students who want to grow in running church technology. You can sign up for that class here.
