Voices Gospel Choir

Join for a season of worship as we sing through old and new music together! We’re going to sing out the truth about the Lord in the most joyful, passionate way we can.

Students can expect to grow in vocal ability, as well as in their comfortability with gospel harmony and ear training. Focused on building familiarity and comfort with singing harmony in a group, this program is designed so that students can sing with growing confidence alongside friends.

We’ll be singing gospel music in three-part arrangements. We’ll have a few performances and worship nights throughout the season.

Details

Season 35 Details (Spring 2026)

  • Genesis Worship Choir is for students age 7-13.

    • Rehearsals for Genesis are Thursdays 4:30-5:30.

  • Voices Gospel Choir is for students age 13 to young adult.

    • Rehearsals for Voices are Tuesdays after chapel from 7:10-8:30.

  • Rehearsals and meetings will take place at the NEW WorshipArts Building, 5701 Mt. Olivet in Kalamazoo.

  • Choirs meet from January through May.

  • CLASSES BEGIN WITH ORIENTATION ON JANUARY 10 FROM 10AM-NOON

CLASS Tuition

FOR STUDENTS TAKING MULTIPLE GROUP CLASSES, A $100 DISCOUNT APPLIES TO THE SECOND CLASS AND BEYOND.

  • Voices Gospel Choir: $200

  • Genesis Worship Choir: $140

  • Other Middle School, High School & Young Adult Classes: $320

  • Elementary Worship Band: $240
