Voices Gospel Ensemble

Join us in 2023 for a season of worship as we sing through old and new music together! We’re going to sing out the truth about the Lord in the most joyful, passionate way we can. Students can expect to grow in vocal ability, as well as in their comfortability with gospel harmony and ear training. Focused on building familiarity and comfort with singing harmony in a group, this program is designed so that students can sing with growing confidence alongside friends. We’ll be singing gospel music in three and four-part arrangements. We’ll have a few performances and worship nights throughout the season, and we’ll also make some video and audio recordings.

Details

Season 29 Details (Spring 2023)

• The Voices Gospel Ensemble is for students age 14-32.

• Rehearsals will take place at the WorshipArts Building, 2020 Fulford St in Kalamazoo, MI.

• The Voices team meets on Mondays from 6:30-8:15, from January 7th through May 13.

• Our biggest events are Horizon on April 15th and APEX on May 13.

• All students and alumni are invited to participate in our spring photoshoot on the morning of April 15th.

• Tuition is $280 for Voices, and $200 for an additional WorshipArts track (worship team, drama, tech team, etc.)

• A link for a video orientation will be sent out at the beginning of January. Students, and at least one parent (for students under 16) must watch it by January 7th.
