WorshipArts Tech Team

A church tech team’s job is to make sure that everyone can see and hear everything that’s going on during our gatherings. This means making sure that the sound, lights and projection facilitates and encourages wholehearted worship together. It means making sure that our services are well recorded and live streamed. We’re amplifying and distributing the gospel and helping to make everyone feel connected to what’s going on, and clearly hears the Word of the Lord, and has an opportunity to respond. You don’t have to be a technical expert to join on the tech team! We can provide training and support as you learn! If you’ve got a heart to serve in the House of the Lord with excellence and want to use your gifts and talents for Him, consider joining the WorshipArts tech team!

Season 35 Details (Spring 2026)

The Tech Team is for students age 13-18.
Rehearsals and meetings will take place at the NEW WorshipArts Building, 5701 Mt. Olivet in Kalamazoo.
The tech team meets on Tuesdays from 4:45-7:05pm, from January 10 to May 9.

Important Dates:

CLASSES BEGIN WITH ORIENTATION ON JANUARY 10 FROM 10AM-NOON
Horizon & Photoshoot, March 21
APEX, May 8-9

CLASS Tuition

FOR STUDENTS TAKING MULTIPLE GROUP CLASSES, A $100 DISCOUNT APPLIES TO THE SECOND CLASS AND BEYOND.

Middle School, High School & Young Adult Classes: $320
Elementary Worship Band: $240
Older Choir: $200
Younger Choir: $140
