WorshipArts Tech Team

A church tech team’s job is to make sure that everyone can see and hear everything that’s going on during our gatherings. This means making sure that the sound, lights and projection facilitates and encourages wholehearted worship together. It means making sure that our services are well recorded and live streamed. We’re amplifying and distributing the gospel and helping to make everyone feel connected to what’s going on, and clearly hears the Word of the Lord, and has an opportunity to respond. You don’t have to be a technical expert to join on the tech team! We can provide training and support as you learn! If you’ve got a heart to serve in the House of the Lord with excellence and want to use your gifts and talents for Him, consider joining the WorshipArts tech team!

Details

Season 29 Details (Spring 2023)

• The Tech Team is for students age 13-18.

• Tech team meetings will take place at the WorshipArts Building, 2020 Fulford St in Kalamazoo, MI.

• The tech team meets on Tuesdays from 5:30-8:15, from January 7th through May 13.

• Our biggest events are Horizon on April 15th and APEX on May 12-13.

• All students and alumni are invited to participate in our spring photoshoot on the morning of April 15th.

• Tuition is $280 for Tech, and $200 for an additional WorshipArts track (worship team, drama, Voices, etc.)

• A link for a video orientation will be sent out at the beginning of January. Students, and at least one parent (for students under 16) must watch it by January 7th.
